Solid Wood Sliding Doors bring natural material in its authentic form into your interior space. Each door panel is crafted from pine or oak and displays a unique grain pattern and distinctly perceptible texture.
The wood used comes from sustainable sources and undergoes careful processing. Door quality results not only from the material itself but also from how it is processed and finished, which ensures the stability and longevity of the construction.
The surface is brushed to enhance the wood grain structure. Pine wood is subjected to deeper brushing, which emphasizes the grain more strongly and creates a more expressive effect. Oak wood is brushed more finely, resulting in a quieter and more uniform surface.
Solid wood has high density and stands up excellently to daily use. It is a material that retains its properties long-term while keeping the grain visible and tactile.
Doors are available in different systems:
The different systems allow adaptation to any room situation, while the material itself makes the door a defining element of your interior design.
Solid Wood Sliding Doors are used where the material itself plays an important role and visible texture is desired. Unlike steel sliding doors, which have a more technical character, wood brings a natural grain pattern to the space and feels warmer.
They are ideal for living areas where they serve as a striking accent, particularly in barn door solutions. Double sliding doors are often used to connect living rooms and dining areas or kitchens, serving as flexible room dividers.
They also work well as closures for dressing rooms or pantries, as well as for home offices and libraries when a fuller sense of enclosure and better sound dampening are desired.
Solid wood responds to changes in temperature and humidity. RENO uses constructive solutions like three-layer wood panels to minimize warping and ensure long-term door stability. Natural differences in structure and appearance are typical of the material and underscore authenticity.
Does solid wood warp?
Wood can react to unfavorable conditions such as high humidity or direct heat sources (e.g., radiators). With proper use, the doors remain stable.
What is the difference between pine and oak?
Pine wood has a more pronounced, broader grain pattern and appears visually lighter. Oak wood is denser, heavier, more resistant to mechanical damage, and its grain structure is finer and more uniform.
Do the doors look exactly like the pictures?
Each solid wood door panel is one of a kind. Grain, knots, and color tone can vary – this is a natural characteristic of the material.
