Our range includes doors with a panel made of transparent glass, frosted glass, reinforced glass, or a double-sided mirror.
The laminated panel is made of laminated safety glass (VSG), created by bonding two panes of glass with a special tear-resistant PVB or EVA film. When the glass breaks, it does not shatter into small pieces but stays in one piece thanks to the film, which holds the broken fragments and glass shards in place.
Using transparent film makes it possible to obtain fully transparent glass.
Whereas thanks to the use of milky-white (matte) film, the safety glass takes on a milky color and becomes completely opaque. It is used for doors intended to provide absolute privacy.
Reinforced glass is a type of safety glass with an embedded metal mesh resembling square netting. The mesh increases the strength of the glass and, in case of damage, holds large glass shards in place so they cannot fly out. The use of the mesh also creates an original, decorative look. Reinforced glass is a characteristic element of a raw industrial interior.
Tempered glass is produced through a heat treatment process in which the glass is first heated to a very high temperature and then rapidly cooled in a stream of compressed air. This increases its resistance to breakage. Tempered glass is safety glass. When damaged, it breaks into small, blunt, irregularly shaped pieces, minimizing the risk of injury. Before tempering, the glass can be rolled to imprint a specific pattern on its surface, for example vertical or horizontal lines (ribbed glass).
