Mounting the Smart guide rail to the side wall

Mounting to the side wall provides two additional support points for the entire sliding-door system. This relieves the main mounting points and shifts part of the system weight from the main wall to the side wall.

This solution is particularly suitable for:

• no lintel – for door openings that reach up to the ceiling vault and additionally to the adjacent wall; the Smart guide rail is then mounted on the adjacent wall, next to the wall with the door opening;
• plasterboard lintel – if the wall on which the door is to be mounted is made of plasterboard and the adjacent wall is made of brick; the Smart guide rail can then additionally be fastened to the masonry wall.

The complete set contains:

• Element for mounting on the side wall
• Element for mounting on the guide rail
• Screws and dowels required for mounting the set elements

NOTE: The set is intended for the Smart guide rail. This guide rail is not included in the set.

• Main dimensions of the mounting tab: 1.5 cm x 5.6 cm
• Thickness of the mounting tab: 0.6 cm
• side mounting of the Smart guide rail is possible for door openings with a maximum width of 95 cm
• The Smart guide rails consist of at least two parts; with side mounting these parts are asymmetrical and their lengths depend on the width of the door opening
