Sliding doors can be mounted on plasterboard walls. To ensure the structure does not overload the lightweight wall, it should be adequately reinforced at the point where the upper guide rail is installed. This is best done during the design phase. If this is not possible, the assembly set for plasterboard walls helps.
Taking into account the characteristics of frame walls, their capabilities, strength, physical properties and limitations, we offer metal expansion anchors for fastening in cavities, the so-called Molly anchors. Expanding anchor arms with a large contact surface press the panel from behind, provide high strength and create a secure connection.
The number of anchors and screws in the set depends on the number of holes in the guide rail. The number of these holes in turn depends on the length of the guide rail.
The length of the guide rail depends on the width of the door leaves. By default, we assume it should be twice as long as the width of the door itself.

Before purchasing a door, make sure whether the wall on which the door is to be mounted has a single- or two-layer system. Then check in the tables that show the usage options of the plasterboard set for the Top Wall system whether the selected model is suitable for installation in a particular plasterboard panel layout and for a particular system type.
