Mounting set for aerated concrete walls

Sliding doors can be mounted on walls made of aerated concrete (gas concrete, Ytong, Suporex). Due to the specific, porous structure of aerated concrete, special anchors designed for fastening in soft building materials are recommended for mounting sliding doors on such walls.

The anchors have a spiral external thread that expands when screwed in, closely adapting to the porous structure of the material and thus ensuring a stable and secure fastening. The anchors are intended for pre-insertion mounting.

The complete set contains:

• Fastening anchors and screws in the number of holes in the guide rail
• Metal reinforcement washers in the number of holes in the guide rail

How do you calculate the length of the guide rail?

The number of anchors and screws in the set depends on the number of holes in the guide rail. The number of these holes in turn depends on the length of the guide rail.

The length of the guide rail depends on the width of the door leaves. By default, we assume it should be twice as long as the width of the door itself.

Guide rail length for standard single doors:

• for 70 cm doors --> 140 cm
• for 80 cm doors --> 160 cm
• for 90 cm doors --> 180 cm
• for 100 cm doors --> 200 cm
• for 110 cm doors --> 220 cm
• for 120 cm doors --> 240 cm

Guide rail length for standard double doors:

• for 2x45 cm doors --> 180 cm
• for 2x55 cm doors --> 220 cm
• for 2x60 cm doors --> 240 cm
• for 2x70 cm doors --> 280 cm
• for 2x80 cm doors --> 320 cm
• for 2x90 cm doors --> 360 cm
• for 2x100 cm doors --> 400 cm
• for 2x110 cm doors --> 440 cm

Mounting set for aerated concrete walls for sliding doors

The anchors we offer are suitable for mounting:

• Standard single- or double-leaf systems (ATTENTION: the use of additional spacer sleeves or non-standard bypass configurations is excluded)
• on walls with a minimum thickness of 8 cm
• ATTENTION: this set is not intended for use with the Top Ceiling system.

The maximum permissible weight for a set of anchors depends on:

• Total weight of the door and the system
• Number of guide rail fastening points (which depends on the length of the guide rail and the type of system)
• Quality of the aerated concrete blocks used – the most durable and suitable is high-quality aerated concrete from reputable manufacturers – the use of low-quality aerated concrete that does not comply with standards can lead to a reduction in the permissible loads.

Metal reinforcement washers

The reinforcement is intended to protect against deformations caused by the sleeves sinking into the wall under the influence of the door's weight. We offer reinforcement in the form of metal plates with a thickness of 0.2 cm, a diameter of 6 cm and a black color, the number of which is matched to the number of holes in the rail and which serve as washers for the sleeves.
