The vestibule is the first room that welcomes guests and sets the tone for the entire home. The owners of this home wanted its design to be not only practical but above all stylish and elegant. The key to success was combining functional solutions, such as sliding doors, with carefully refined details. To maintain order and aesthetics, the wardrobe was build as a separate, enclosed space.
The hall features a combination of minimalism with natural accents. Large-format grey floor tiles with a subtle pattern create a coherent and easy-to-maintain base. The walls are painted in white and deep black, giving the interior a striking and modern elegance. Minimalist decorations, including dried flowers and plants, soften the starkness of the black, creating a cosy atmosphere.
The focal point, which immediately draws the eye upon entering, is the barn-style sliding door. Crafted from natural oak wood with delicate grain, it provides a bold yet warm accent in this minimalist room. Black fittings and a large, simple handle highlight the modern character of the doors. Instead of taking up space, the door slides along the wall, revealing or concealing the wardrobe area – an extremely practical and convenient solution. Outerwear and footwear remain hidden from guests’ view, ensuring the vestibule always looks neat and organised.
