Nordic interior of a single-family home in bright colors

This two-story house on the North Sea coast was renovated and furnished in a Nordic style. In the lower part of the house, there is an open living room with a dining area and kitchen. The basis and background of the entire arrangement are white walls and a light wood floor. The rooms are equipped with functional furniture, featuring simple but very modern forms and expressive accessories. All this creates an open space in a natural, muted color palette of beige, cream, brown, and gray, interrupted here and there by black accents.

The homeowners made sure the entire house was very well lit. Modern pendant and floor lamps have found their place in many corners of the house. Candles and candleholders placed on furniture and on the floor simultaneously provide additional light and create a cozy atmosphere. Filled with dried or living plants, glass or ceramic vases in various sizes and shapes bring a touch of nature. There are also hints of simple, geometric shapes characteristic of the Nordic style. These can be seen on posters, decorative vessels, and lighting elements.

The spacious living room with a dining area is ideal for family gatherings and entertaining guests. In the living room, a huge and comfortable sofa with soft cushions plays the central role. The dining room is equipped with a wooden table and beige upholstered chairs. Above the table hangs a white designer lamp. The dining area is located next to large windows that fill the entire wall from floor to ceiling. Such windows bring plenty of natural light into the interior and additionally enrich the interior with a view of the greenery from the garden.

The entrance to the kitchen is covered by our glass sliding doors, model Verriere. The classic and timeless white of the kitchen perfectly matches the industrial black door frame. Transparent glass lets the light through. The kitchen was arranged to ensure free access to the countertop and cabinets. Instead of a table, the homeowners opted for a small counter with bar stools, making the kitchen more spacious.

This house is an example of a well-furnished interior in a Nordic style. It is elegant and modern, but also very cozy. This is ensured by warm colors and carefully selected furniture and accessories. Here, there is an atmosphere of peace and harmony.
