In the #MojeRenoDoors competition, which was organized in 2021, Beata won her dream sliding door, which she installed at the entrance to the kitchen. Beata loves passionately restoring old furniture and DIY decorations. She regularly makes small changes to make the house more beautiful, and she encourages others to do the same by showing the impact of her work on @w_cieniu_gruszy.
The apartment's furnishings are an eclectic mix of vintage– and mid-century elements that looks very modern. Most of the furniture is secondhand, sourced from bargain auctions and then restored by hand. Many decorations and accessories, such as candle holders, plates, lamps, and framed pictures, were also designed and made by the apartment owner.
The living room is dominated by shades of gray, cream, and beige. The wall is adorned with delicate plasterwork according to Beata's own design. Simple and modest, yet elegant decorations complement the overall arrangement. There is also a fireplace, carefully finished with decorative wallpaper and plasterwork. In a bright kitchen, the focal point is the island, where flowers in a vase and small decorations find a place. One of the walls is clad with light brick, which is a perfect backdrop for hanging metal shelves.
The kitchen and hallway are separated by a LOFT doors with glass. The Atelier model is a black steel frame with glass infill. Beata chose a frosted glass infill that lets light through gently. Metal doors fit perfectly into the hall design, with a wall clad in large graphite tiles. Directly next to the door is a black perforated console with a large mirror. It's a perfect place to display decorations, as a dark wall is a perfect backdrop for gold and light accents.
