Functionality and minimalism in a student room decorated in Loft style

A student room with minimalist décor, limited to a small selection of primary colors—as is often the case for a young man. It is in Loft style, but also features vintage accents such as an old bentwood chair from an antique shop or military chests acquired at military auctions and further restored. When it came time to update the teenager's room for a maturing occupant, the main goal was to make it comfortable, bright, and practical. Decorations were primarily elements connected to the passions of the student living here—namely, music. The student room is not large, so it was crucial that the layout and arrangement could be changed as needed. Therefore, you'll find here lightweight, multifunctional elements that are easy to move. The space can be freely reorganized and adapted to suit the needs. The centerpiece is a large desk that enables comfortable studying. There are retro chests conveniently mounted on casters that can serve as a coffee table, gaming table, and sometimes as extra seating. Sliding doors perfectly complement such an arrangement and even add character. Here, the VERRIERE model from the Industrial Line with frosted glass infill was installed. The key is that the door fits perfectly into every centimeter of the recess between wall and fireplace, filling the entire opening. Thanks to the frosted glass infill, they not only provide sufficient privacy but also illuminate the interior on both sides, positively affecting daylight access both in the presented space and in the hallway directly behind the door. Although this room differs significantly in design from the rest of the house, which has a much more feminine character, the VERRIERE door that connects both spaces is a passage that looks good from both sides.
