Designing this apartment was a genuine challenge due to its small size and the rooms’ unusual geometry, with an acute angle between the walls. Despite these constraints, thoughtful solutions made it possible to create an interior that is functional and attractive, yet also unique.
A warm palette based on browns and grays creates a cozy atmosphere, while yellow decorative accents enliven the space. The living room contains the essential furniture: a comfortable gray sofa and a small coffee table. The compact bedroom, separated from the living area, is furnished with a double bed, wardrobes, and a desk.
A particular challenge was designing the bedroom entrance, located on a wall that meets the window wall at an acute angle. Sliding doors were selected because they fit the room’s unusual geometry perfectly. This solution kept the door fully functional and allowed the bedroom to be closed off. When fully open, the doors do not block daylight entering through the windows. The double door makes optimal use of the limited space, while its gray finish coordinates with the interior palette and emphasizes its modern character.
