The Art of Adorning Doors – Inspiring Flower Wreaths

Wreaths naturally enrich the atmosphere of any home. They add a pleasant floral accent and warmly welcome the household and its guests. Adding plant elements indoors is a great way to create harmonious freshness. The ecological character of such decorations is also noteworthy.

Door Wreaths – A Trend Worth Bringing Into Your Home

At RENO, we're aware of the role doors play in interior design. For this reason, we've decided to include enchanting door wreaths in our offering that give them even more character. We offer you high-quality products made from natural materials, because we believe that aesthetics should go hand in hand with durability and environmental protection. Why do we believe that door wreaths are an unmissable trend?

Hanging decorations in the form of door wreaths indoors is a great idea to enliven your house or apartment. For good reason, wreaths have become one of the most interesting decorating trends of recent months!

Their natural appearance combined with rustic charm makes them the perfect complement for any interior style, even minimalist ones. After all, not every wreath is a rich, colorful composition. If you prefer simpler designs, you can choose a base of eucalyptus leaves and delicate white flowers.

Natural materials such as dried flowers, leaves, or branches create harmonious compositions that you can skillfully adapt to both your home's colors and the season. If you want to create your own wreaths (for example, based on what's currently growing in your garden), you can easily adjust the composition to different seasons—featuring bright, colorful flowers in spring, golden leaves and chestnuts in fall, and branches of evergreen plants combined with festive decorations, such as dried oranges with cloves, in winter.

Wreaths lend a unique charm and freshness to interior spaces and are also a great way to warmly welcome guests when you hang them on the front door or in the guest room.

Are Door Wreaths a Good Choice? Naturality Above All

You already know our opinion. Door wreaths can be a great decorative choice. Especially if you decide to use natural products instead of seemingly cheaper plastic alternatives. Here are some reasons why you should go the natural route.

Drying and Stabilization Techniques

The natural wreaths you'll find in RENO's offering are made using plant drying and stabilization techniques. These processes involve removing moisture from plants while preserving their shape, color, and structure. This allows the wreaths to retain their natural beauty for a long time. They're also more durable than plastic equivalents or traditionally dried garlands.

The Natural Character of Interior Spaces

Natural wreaths add coziness to interior spaces. Their organic elements bring harmony and peace to any room. After a long workday, it's always more pleasant to come home when your eyes land on a natural composition. Since RENO's wreaths are 100% natural and ecological, you'll quickly feel the difference!

Ecology Paired with Aesthetics

Choosing natural door wreaths is an ecological choice. They're much more environmentally friendly than plastic alternatives. Plus, plastic decorations often end up in the trash and contribute to planet pollution. On the other hand, natural wreaths aren't just more enchanting—you can also give them a second life. How? After serving you for many years, you can easily compost them, contributing to waste reduction and environmental protection.

The purely aesthetic aspect shouldn't be overlooked either. On natural wreaths, you won't find glue traces or elements deformed during production. The authentic appearance of wreaths made from real plants is simply unmistakable. Let's also not forget that the wreaths available at RENO are handcrafted without any plastic additions. That alone speaks to quality.

Durability and Quality of Natural Door Wreaths

We've already mentioned that natural wreaths made from dried plants are generally more durable and robust than plastic wreaths. If you care for such decoration properly, it will retain its beauty for many years. It's an investment in a decoration that lasts longer than seasonal trends.

Natural door wreaths have a unique and special character. As decoration, they can reflect your individual preferences, emphasize your interior's style, and make a striking accent.

Trends in the World of Wreaths – Inspiration from RENO

Now it's time for some inspiration! Let's take a look at three fantastic ideas for designing different interior spaces—from lightly industrial to minimalist.

A Wreath on a Metal Door

Get to know the original construction of the On the Horizon wreath. It's a wreath that was simply made to be placed on window surfaces and glass doors.

And that's not the only suggestion for this type of interior design. Look at the arrangements below, where a combination of natural accessories and industrial sliding doors in LOFT style prevails. See how the black steel frame harmonizes beautifully with the lush, large wreath. Lightness and elegance combine here with nature, creating a kind of connection to other decorations.

Rich, Floral Compositions in Colorful Interiors

Spring Meadow is a large wreath with a diameter of 45 centimeters that will appeal to all lovers of Boho style and warm, cozy, colorful interiors. Pampas grass, ornamental grasses, Lagurus, canary grass, and small flowers create an enchanting composition full of charm, and the straw basket provides a rustic character. This type of wreath (whether you make it yourself or buy it from us) is perfect for country-style interiors, particularly modern farmhouse, but also for spaces inspired by Boho or Ethno elements.

Modern and Minimalist Wreaths on Rings

Something more delicate perhaps? Lastly, we have an enchantingly lavender-colored, simple yet beautiful and rich composition for you—Lavender Stories. This is a unique door wreath woven on a thin metal ring. It will delight those who prefer elegant, minimalist solutions. Both full rings and partially woven rings are a fantastic idea for simple interiors. They add a touch of glamour and, thanks to their smaller size, don't draw as much attention. Lavender Stories features grasses, grain, baby's breath, goldenrod, and other dried flowers—let yourself be inspired.

How to Care for RENO Door Wreaths?

Now that you know how to (literally 🙂) weave door wreaths into your interior, pay attention to their care to protect this unique decoration.

Currently, we at RENO work with Projekt Wianki. The artist creates handcrafted wreaths for us. Each one is unique and beautiful, so it's worth taking care of them so they serve you as long as possible. We also recommend checking out their other projects, which they showcase on their social media profiles.

Here you'll find some tips and tricks for proper care.

Keep the wreaths away from direct sunlight

Dried and preserved flowers are sensitive to direct sunlight. It can cause the flowers to lose their color or crumble – and we definitely don't want that! We therefore recommend placing the wreath in a location where it is not exposed to direct sunlight.

Avoid moisture and water contact

High humidity can negatively affect dried and preserved flowers and cause them to crumble and even mold. Therefore, we advise against placing wreaths in bathrooms or directly outdoors. It is better to place them in the entryway or on the inside of your front door. In special cases, you can use a hair dryer set to low temperature and a gentle air stream to dry the wreath.

Remove dust regularly

Dust can accumulate on the surface of dried and preserved flowers – that's normal. To keep the wreath clean, dust it regularly with a soft brush or gentle air stream from a hair dryer. Care should be taken to avoid damaging the delicate flowers!

We also invite you to explore our selection of door wreaths. With them, you can easily refresh the look of your interior and give it a unique and cozy character. Don't forget that you can have more than one wreath in your home! If you dream of a colorful, natural interior, let it shine through with unusual, natural, and eco-friendly decorations.
