Yes, It can! In addition, they are glamorous and designer, thanks to which they add even more character to the door.

A few technical details

The door locks we propose, we can divide into two groups: mortise, mounted into the edge of the door leaf and hooks. All door locks are made of high-quality stainless steel. Also, they are covered by a two-year warranty. However, the door locks do not improve the tightness of the door. It is worth remembering when deciding to install them in bathrooms. Together with the door lock, you will receive the screws needed for assembly and assembly instructions. With mortise locks, you need to remember that you need an additional beam that will allow you to mount such a lock.

The DROP lock

The DROP lock for sliding doors is a great solution that will replace traditional hooks. This lock is specially designed for sliding doors. Thanks to its design, it can be mounted both on the inside and outside of the door. Its easy assembly and simple minimalist design add character to sliding doors. It works well with all door models from our collection. However, we do not recommend it for rustic and country-style doors, as it has a too simple form. The lock is made of structural steel, i.e. non-alloy steel and powder painted black.

Rustic cabin hook

If you want to go for a simple rustic door lock, this iron hook is a good choice. It is perfect for sliding doors, but can also be mounted on rustic shutters. It will also work in bathrooms. The Rustic Hook is characterized by simplicity of execution and use. An additional advantage is an easy assembly, which everyone should handle on their own. We especially recommend it for doors from our Rustical line. Made of dark grey cast iron.

Modern cabin hook

If you chose a simple door, a hook for closing doors in a modern style will be perfect for them. It is suitable for installation in sliding doors from the inside. It also works great in bathrooms. Available in grey, it is made of stainless steel. We especially recommend it for doors from our Elegance line.

What to pay attention to when installing locks in sliding doors?

Sliding door locks are not double-sided. The Drop lock can be mounted both from the outside and inside, while the hook locks are suitable for outside mounting.

If you plan to mount the lock, it is worth considering installing a beam at the door, into which the lock will get. It can help with the lock assembly.
